In Honor Of Them Turning 7
I can’t believe they’re 7 years old already. Those of you who’ve been reading for a while – and I think there are one or two of you left – may remember how they arrived in our life. I don’t really remember life without them, but it doesn’t seem possible that they’re now considered older cats.
This is what they looked like then:

(the night they showed up, when we were trying to figure out what to do with them)
They turned from those tiny kittens into these monsters:
Those last two aren’t recent. I really need to get more recent photos of them and Goblin.
But 7, wow. Happy birthday, Xena and Joxer.

How did I never realize before that they are twins?
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen them right next to each other like that before. It’s hard to get photos of them together these days.
Aww what cuties. Guess that finding them a home thing went just as planned!
(by them!)
Ha! You’re not kidding. I was re-reading those old posts last night and I never even admitted on the blog that we were keeping them both. It just sort of happened. The last thing I posted was that we found a no-kill shelter to take one of them and were leaning toward keeping Xena because I wanted a girl. I’m so glad we kept them both, because Joxer is my big marshmallow!
